Valentine's Day shopping can be stressful. Flowers and chocolates are the old standbys, but try to think outside the box this year. Flowers wilt, and chocolates, well...let's just say they don't last long in my house. I'd much rather give and receive a thoughtful gift that I can enjoy for a long time. I've come up with a few ideas of what I'd love to receive and a couple that I think husbands would like.
Baccarat lead crystal flutes
I love Prosecco, so a great bottle of the bubbly, or your favorite champagne can be paired with a magnificent set of hand-blown crystal flutes. I love the set from Tiffany & Co., but they are out of stock online, so this pair of Baccarat lead crystal flutes from France are simply and elegant.
Heart paperweight
I love the Elsa Peretti collection at Tiffany & Co. and I think the heart paperweight is fabulous for a woman’s desk in her home office or at work.
Statement ring from Bergdorf Goodman
Jewelry is a popular go-to gift for women, but not everything has to be heart shaped to be a great Valentine’s Day gift. This statement ring from Bergdorf Goodman is modern, stylish and chic. And I love the raspberry color!
Collar stays
Men are less likely to wear their heart on their sleeve, but with a set of collar stays with a hidden message, they’ll be reminded of your love when they wear them.
Bluetooth speakers
Gadget guys love the latest and greatest, but the most stylish will love these sleek and stylish Bluetooth speakers that they can listen to their favorite music on, or have a conversation via Bluetooth connected to their phone.
