Thankful for Stunning Tablescapes
The holidays are fast approaching; I can hardly believe it’s almost mid-November! First up on the list of hopefully many family and friend get-togethers is Thanksgiving. I love the warm colors of fall, from the varying shades of changing leaves to the rich, saturated colors of seasonal squash. Bring together the colors of the season and plenty of place settings for loved ones, and you are well on your way to creating the perfect space for entertaining this Thanksgiving. Before everyone sits down at the table with a delicious plate of food, the table can serve as one of the most decorative displays at the party. A gorgeous tablescape starts with a show-stopping centerpiece. Sometimes creating a centerpiece can be overwhelming and daunting. But I would suggest sticking to a few no-fail basics.
- Fresh, seasonal flowers
Head to your local farmer’s market and pick up a few bouquets of flowers that have sturdy leaves, varying sizes, and a range of colors. The best centerpieces look bountiful yet elegant.

- Outdoorsy accents
Utilize nature in more ways than just flowers; pick up some pinecones, artichokes, and a variety of gourds to artfully display around your centerpieces on the table. The varied textures will bring in another layer of visual intrigue and a unique seasonal touch to your design.

- Brighten it up
An easy way to add sophisticated flair to your tablescape is by including a few candles of varying heights. Candlesticks in unique finishes like burnished metal or seasonal styles to give off an easy, elegant and inviting look to guests.

I certainly do love the beauty of the season, a fantastic tablescape, and a beautiful display of food. But above all, I love being spending time with the people who mean the most to me and being thankful for all that we have.
What ways do you spruce up your Thanksgiving tablescape?
