Warm Up Your Home for the Cozy Fall Season

The days are getting shorter and the air is getting crisper! Fall is one of my favorite times of the year – I love cozying up on the sofa with a hot apple cider or a glass of red wine. To transition into the spirit of the season, we’re sharing a few quick and easy ideas to warm up your home:

  • Change bedding from linen and cottons to cozy warm flannel and wool. I like to put a couple wool throws at the foot of my bed and replace the cotton pillow shams with faux fur.

  • Add a few potted plants in seasonal colors. I like to put a big vase of fresh lilies in oranges and yellows on my coffee table. I also like to update my kitchen counter with some pots of herbs and mums. By now, the potted plants from spring and summer months are looking tired.

  • Not particularly original, but I also like to change and freshen up the candles I’ve been using in the kitchen and in my bedroom. Not only do I love the fall scents, but the flame always adds a bit of warmth and coziness. Diptyque are my favorite!
