Throughout the summer and into fall, our house feels much larger because our living spaces migrate outdoors. Many of our clients ask us to design outdoor living rooms, kitchens, bars and entertaining spaces. It's possible on of the hottest trends in design this year. Consider these three factors as you plan:
Patio Seating
When designing living spaces, it’s important to consider how much seating you will need. If you have an outdoor table, choose one large enough to accommodate extra guests as well as space to move around and mingle. Outdoor living rooms can be as formal or as casual as you like. Many manufacturers design outdoor sectionals that are stylish and durable.
Outdoor Kitchen
The sky’s the limit when it comes to outdoor kitchens. Powder-coated dining tables and chairs mimic the most stylish indoor furniture. Add built in grill, pizza oven, bar, and sink and you’ll never have to step inside a hot kitchen.
Poolside Furniture
Poolside furniture has moved beyond the chaise lounge. Today’s styles allow you to transform your backyard into a cabana-style oasis complete with a bar.
