Will my designer be part of the Davin Interiors team?
Yes! All virtual designers are full-time team members at Davin Interiors and
work under the direct supervision of Catherine Davin, owner and principal
designer.
Will I have input in the design style or does Davin Interiors have a signature style?
Davin Interiors does not have a signature style – instead, we create a personalized
design that best speaks to you. The first step in any Virtual Consultation project is
the moodboard phase, which allows us to get really clear on your design style and how
you ultimately want to feel in the space.
Will my designer work with my existing furniture and decor?
We’ll gladly incorporate a few of your existing furniture pieces, but the majority of
items in the design plan will be new selections from our trusted vendors. Our aim is
to curate a design scheme that is elevated and cohesive, giving your space that true
designer look.
What if I don’t need a full-room design and I’m just looking for styling services?
At this time, our virtual consultations are only for full-room designs. We do not
offer virtual styling services, as we feel our best styling work is done in person,
where we can be integrated with the space and add/edit pieces in real time.
What do I receive at the completion of our virtual consultation project?
Each project includes the following deliverables: a mood board that showcases the
design style for the space, a scaled furniture plan to show placement of all items,
a design board that presents all furniture/decor selections with links to purchase
all included items.
What vendors or brands will be incorporated into my final design plan?
For the majority of selections, we source from our in-house trade vendors. This allows
us to attest to the quality of the item, and ensures that you’re getting a truly
custom design, as most selections are not available to the public.
How long will a Virtual Consultation project take from start to finish?
The duration varies based on the scope of each project, but typically, one room takes
7-8 weeks from initial kick-off to final design delivery.
How much does a Virtual Consultation project cost?
Typically, our design fee per room is between $2,000 and $4,000 depending on the
size of the space. But, each project is priced based on a case-by-case basis, so
we encourage you to complete the Virtual Questionnaire to receive your customized
project proposal.
