The days are getting shorter and the air is getting crisper! Fall is one of my favorite times of the year – I love cozying up on the sofa with a hot apple cider or a glass of red wine. To transition into the spirit of the season, we’re sharing a few quick and easy ideas to warm up your home:

1

Change bedding from linen and cottons to cozy warm flannel and wool.

I like to put a couple wool throws at the foot of my bed and replace the cotton pillow shams with faux fur.

2

Add a few potted plants in seasonal colors.

I like to put a big vase of fresh lilies in oranges and yellows on my coffee table. I also like to update my kitchen counter with some pots of herbs and mums. By now, the potted plants from spring and summer months are looking tired.

Freshen your candle scents.

Not particularly original, but I also like to change and freshen up the candles I’ve been using in the kitchen and in my bedroom. Not only do I love the fall scents, but the flame always adds a bit of warmth and coziness. Diptyque are my favorite!
